The information found below is designed to help you get the best out of BOFA® demo tests and to understand how formative learning works.
BOFAmaths demo tests are not differentiated for different exam boards or target grades, as our usual adaptive testing is. Do not worry about this. The demo is there to help you understand how BOFA works, rather than testing your subject knowledge. Demo tests are a great way to familiarise yourself with the unique BOFA approach, either before making a purchase or once you have a subscription before taking your first test.
If you do not currently have a BOFA account set up, you'll need to create one for free. It's quick and easy to do.
Each demo test includes the following stages:
- An initial test to assess which areas you may be struggling with.
- Explanations and similar practice questions to help you with questions you answered incorrectly in the first stage.
- A retest to check your progress and highlight any remaining areas needing attention.
- A progress report detailing any errors made in the final retest will be sent to your email inbox after all stages are complete.
We recommend you complete the intial test and retest without support or any learning resources. This is to ensure it is a true reflection of your current understanding. You may wish to use extra materials when working through the practice stage to enhance your understanding.
START Start a new test.
CONTINUE Continue a test you've already started. You might not have finished the practice or re-test stage.
RETAKE Retake a test you have previously taken. This will delete the previous test data and start from scratch.
REPORT View the questions you got wrong at the end of the re-test.
